Kamalani Inclusive Playground at Lydgate Park

Kamalani Inclusive Playground sits within Lydgate Park on Kauaʻi’s east side and pairs a destination-style park setting with one of the island’s clearest all-abilities play experiences. County and community sources describe the newer inclusive area as designed around physical, social, emotional, sensory, communication, and cognitive play, with equipment for swinging, spinning, sliding, climbing, and balancing. Families also get practical amenities that make longer visits easier, including comfort stations, picnic shelters, pavilions, parking, beach access, bike path access, and an all-terrain wheelchair at the park.
