Roy Sutherland Inclusive Playground

Roy Sutherland Park on the east side of Soldiers Field Memorial Park is the location Rochester has officially identified for an expanded inclusive playground area and shelter. The playground remains part of a much larger family destination that also includes new aquatics features, trails, basketball courts, and nearby nature play on the west side of the park. Public project updates make clear that inclusion is central to the east-side playground improvements, but the city pages reviewed do not yet publish a full equipment list or finished surfacing specifications. Families already visiting Soldiers Field can reasonably treat this as one of Rochester's main inclusive outdoor play stops.
